The tussle between Eddie Murphy and Melanie Brown’s does not seem to be ending but with the latest development it has increased the sourness between the two as the results of a court-ordered DNA test, confirmed that Murphy is indeed the father of Brown’s baby.
Since the birth of her baby girl, Mel B has maintained that Murphy is baby’s father and things worsened when Murphy refused to accept her as daughter and asked for a paternity test.
As for now it looks that there is no escape for Murphy from accepting the fact with dignity because Murphy took the DNA test on June 11 and its results were received by her on Thursday, June 21. The report is said to claim that Murphy is the father of “Scary Spice” Melanie Brown’s 2-month-old daughter.
A source close to Brown said:
He’s the baby’s father, it’s official. The baby is undoubtedly, 110 percent his.
On the other side there are no comments from Murphy’s. As a matter of fact in December 2006 Murphy told a Dutch TV show of Brown’s pregnancy and said :
I don’t know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test.
However, in April this year Murphy refused to take a paternity test and has not contacted Brown since Angel’s birth.
Angel Iris Murphy Brown was born to Brown, 32, on April 3 which incidentally is Murphy’s birthday too.
