The monsoon may hit India well before expected time this year. According to the officials at Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), monsoon has already reached over Andaman Islands and there is good possibility that it will hit Kerala days before June 1. According to the IMD report, the monsoon pattern shows that it will reach over the southern coast before the due time.

The official said that the south westerlies have been built in the Andaman Sea five days before the usual date of Maay 15. The process of cloud formation has been increased this time over the seabeds. Now, the favorable atmospheric and oceanic conditions over the region would create monsoon movement near the Indian Territory just before time this year.

The temperature of Asian landmass region has been increased and the condition has become favorable for monsoon hit in this region. Further, the winds coming from the southern hemisphere will be another factor that would influence the increasing pressure patterns in the region.

The IMD in Pune had developed a new statistical model that supports experts to forecast about the time of monsoon near Kerala. It gives the forecast of plus or minus three days.
