Michelle Rodriguez to spend 60 days behind the bars

Actress Michelle Rodriguez was on trial in LA for 3 charges stemming from two incidents which took place in Hollywood. She has been sentenced to sixty days imprisonment for probation infringement.

In December 2005, on Kalahiana’ ole Highway, she dishonored her term of probation and failed a sobriety test. She pleaded guilty for it and preferred spending five days behind the bar than 240 hours of community service.

Then in July 2003, she was accused of a hit and run case. In the same year, in November Michelle was arrested over the charges of drunken driving.

Frank Mateljan Press Deputy City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo, said:

We are hoping that this sentence will be a wake up call and she will begin to turn her life around

Michelle will have to perform thirty days of community service, have been ordered to enter an alcohol rehab program and she will have to actively participate in the campaigns organized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
