Miley Cyrus extends ‘Best of Both Worlds’ in ’08

Miley Cyrus fans rejoice! The singer and actress has extended her ongoing North American concert tour ‘Best of Both Worlds’.

Hannah who recently turned 15 on tour began the tour created and directed by Kenny Ortega, the director of High School Musical and High School Musical 2, on October 18, 2007. By addition of 14 more dates now the tour ends in Miami, on January 31, 2008.

The tour has been a great achievement for Cyrus as the show tickets became the most in-demand concert tickets of 2007. As a matter of fact she has become so popular that the concert tickets sold out for every show, and for some shows the tickets were sold out in just five minutes or less.

Miley Cyrus rose to fame when she starred as Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel Original Series, Hannah Montana. The extended leg of the tour is scheduled on Jan. 11 and will begin from Detroit. Tickets for new dates announced will be available from Saturday, December 15, 2007.

The extended tour comes in the response from the fans and many of them who missed her sensational performance due to unavailability of tickets or for some other reason have now another chance to catch her up at new gigs.

The Jonas Brothers, who have opened up all shows of Cyrus will not be available in the added concerts. The ten-pop duo Aly & AJ will take place of The Jonas Brothers and help Cyrus from Jan. 11 to Jan. 24.

The best part apart from fun and entertainment of Cyrus’s tour is that $1 of each ticket from the tour will benefit the ‘City of Hope Foundation’. The organisation in Duarte, California that helps fighting against cancer.
