When I first heard that Miley Cyrus has changed her name, I thought perhaps this time it would sound more like a real name and less like an infant’s babble. Alas that was not to be. The teen queen has apparently just borrowed her father???s middle name ???Ray??? and will now legally be named Miley Ray Cyrus. And in case you were wondering what mythical creature her name Miley is supposed to denote, well, then let me burst your aesthetic bubble because apparently Miley is an evolved (or dumbed down?) form of the star???s childhood nickname Smiley. Awww??? How cute is that? But I like her original birth name better: Destiny Hope Cyrus. Sounds like the name of a nun at a modern convent. No wonder she changed it!
