‘Monk’ star Stanley Kamel found dead

The year 2008 for Hollywood has been full of upheavals so far. Another sad news is in store for all- ‘Monk’ actor Stanley Kamel was found dead in his home two days back. He was 65 and it is said that he died of heart attack but it is speculated that there might be some other reason as well. He has contributed many life-like characters to American shows and has worked with TV for almost a lifetime. The crown in his bag is his character Dr. Charles Kroger in ‘Monk’. His fans would sure be wondering as to who would suitably fit in to the role of the therapist, now that Kamel is no more. Interestingly, there is news that the L.A. Fire officials had received a call from his home at around 4.00 pm on the day he died. The investigation is still on and the news would follow as well.

Kamel has appeared in innumerable TV characters over the past years. Some of the shows in which he has acted are ‘The West Wing’, ‘Six Feet Under’, ‘Melrose Place’, ‘The Golden Girls’, ‘Days of Our Lives’ and ‘Murder One’. However, his fans will always remember Kamel by his role in ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’, as Tony Marchette, the father of Rebecca Gayheart???s character. With Hollywood facing so many tragedies like Heath Ledger’s death and now Kamel’s death, it is sure upsetting for everyone around. May Kamel’s soul rest in peace.
