It seems Nithari is not the single site of mass child sexual abuse and murders. Now, as it is reported that the Nithari ghost loomed large in Muktsar, Punjab too. According to the police, sexual abuse could possibly have been the cause of the killing of four children in Muktsar as it happened in the Nithari killings.
The bodies of were found in rice mill that belongs to Jagmeet Brar, a former Congress MP. However, the former MP, currently the CWC member, is ready to face any probe in this matter.
On the other hand, the Akali Dal leader, Sukhbir Badal has asked for CBI inquiry into the incident.
The police are so far focusing to ascertain whether there is any relation of this children killing with the Nithari killing.
The similar part of the story is that the bodies of children were mutilated and beyond recognition. Muktsar DSP J S Sandhu said that the bodies had turned blackish and however, no bones were disjointed.
There are more similarities found, as the parents were too poor to protest on missing of their children. The police, here also, refused to act on their missing complaints.
Raghbir, a rickshaw-puller said that he had gone to SP sahib second time on November 20 but the local police did not do anything for this.
The dreaded and sexually frustrated criminals are, it seems, targeting the kids specially from poor families. Because, in any high profile abduction case such as the previous abduction of a son of high profile executive, administration and media both concentrate hard.
The poor families are not able to reach the authority to lodge even the complains of their missing kids. This is hard to believe that kids were being abducted since last two years and the administration was silent in Nithari. Now, the Muktsar killing showed that the situation has become worse now.
