The ‘promiscuous’ singer Nelly Furtado is finally getting married again. After her previous marriage with DJ Jasper failed, she was without a man for a while. Recently, she got engaged to her boyfriend Demacio ‘Demo’ Castellon (the sound engineer boyfriend).
Nelly is already a mother to a three year old. Nevis is Nelly’s baby daughter from her previous relationship with DJ Jasper Gahunia (‘Lil Jaz’)
Nelly’s new fiance helped her with the 2006 album called ‘Loose’. The Canadian singer met her fiance at Timbaland during the audition of her album. The relationship seems to have taken off well since then. In an interview with Blender, she admitted to her relationship with a ‘secret boyfriend‘.I guess her ‘secret boyfriend’ is not so secret anymore.
Nelly is a Grammy award winner as well. She is multilingual and speaks Spanish and Portuguese. Nelly has won each and every one of 5 nominations that she was selected for in the Canadian Juno music awards.
I think this is a big step for this Canadian singer. If her singing career fails due to some reason she will still have something to fall back on (the sound engineer). No information has been revealed regarding the particulars of the couple’s marriage.
