Newly married actress, Nicole Kidman is under the final talks with the makers of ‘The Golden Compass‘. Dakota Blue Richards has been hired to play a gal named Lyra in the movie, which is an adaptation of the first part of ‘His Dark Materials‘, penned by Philip Pullman.
Nicole Kidman would play the role of an evil scholar and socialite with a mystifying past and has some connection with Lyra. Budget of the venture is above $150 million and the filming of the movie will kick off from 4 September.
