It seems Nicole Richie has finally come out of hibernation. The much criticized celebrity did some straight talking when she was recently interviewed by Nylon magazine.
If her words are to be believed, then we may end up cursing ourselves for taking her in the wrong sense. Nicole confessed that she is really surprised when young girls look up to her as a role model. She stated that she never portrayed herself as a role model for the young girls.
Nicole took liberty to lash back at the media who is persistently trying to generate a controversy about her being anorexic. She said:
It’s really sad how obsessed America is with weight. It’s sick. I’ve never gone a day without putting food in my mouth. I’ve never sewn my mouth shut. I’ve never gone on a liquid diet. So I want to know why I’m the face for a problem.
Last but not the least, she honestly spoke about her experience as a heroin addict. She explained how she restrained herself from over-indulging and becoming a slave to the drug.
Finally we have something to talk about Nicole Richie as she ends her long break. And what a time she chose to bounce back. With Paris Hilton out of jail, it may spell another round of media-circus for the duo.
