The off screen friendship between Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston is reportedly becoming an issue in the lives of Courtney and David Arquette. Reports have it that David has clearly told his wife Courtney to keep safe distance from Jennifer and has set ground rules for her.
According to sources close to the couple,
Somewhat understandably, David’s now saying it’s him or Jennifer. He’s had enough and is drawing a line in the sand. He’s asking that Jennifer’s visits become less frequent and that there are no phone calls between midnight and 8am. David is now telling friends that it feels like he is married to two women.
News has it that Jennifer’s single status could be causing trouble between the Arquettes. Jennifer has spent almost every holiday with the couple and calls Courtney at odd hours. David apparently is immersed with insecurity and he feels that he is sharing his wife with another women.
To ensure that the couple do share private moments together and not have Jennifer around always, David has set some rules for Courtney hoping that some where it will help them have a private couple identity. The question though arises is that how much of freedom should friends be given in personal lives of couples. Courtney and Jennifer’s friendship goes way back from the time the superhit series ‘Friends’ made some massive in roads on screen. They were very close even when Jennifer was married to Brad Pitt. But for unfortunate reasons Jennifer seems to be unlucky in love and her dependency on Courtney’s friendship may also lead the Arquettes separate. Only time can tell if the couple control this issue between them or will it continue to bother David.
