I’m sure, almost all of us have heard of Audrey Katherine Hepburn. Born on May 4th, 1929, Hepburn eventually took to acting and she became a pretty successful actress during her prime time. The New York Public Library acquired several memoirs of Katherine Hepburn in order to celebrate the life and works of the actress.

This collection will be sort of a sneak peak in the private life of the Oscar winning actress. This will bring out the strong-willed character that Hepburn once was. Having been taught at the English boarding school, Audrey developed different character traits. She was arrogant, and sometimes ‘insecure about her acting ability’.

The NYC library accumulated several scripts, journals, scraps that gives us an idea about Hepburn’s life and works. Hepburn is a four-time Oscar winning actress who is often portrayed as witty, as well as imperious. The NYC library collection reveals a leather scrapbook owned by the actress at some point in her life. The book reveals her lover “S.T.” or Spencer Tracy.

Audrey Hepburn often times doubted her own abilities. She was not confident enough regarding her own abilities. As a matter of fact, she wasn’t quite sure about what she could do. The library collection also revealed her thoughts on the musical that she did once. I think that the NYC public library collection gives us a detailed insight of her life and her thoughts on the movies.
