a cheerful anna nicole smith 2263Online auction site ‘eBay’ has recently sold two diaries written by the deceased sensation Anna Nicole Smith for more than $500,000 to a German man. The anonymous buyer plans to write a book based on these diaries.

Jeff Woolf, the co-partner and auction director of Universal Rarities in Corona, California gave details about the two diaries as he talked to news agency Reuters.

The two diaries from 1992 and 1994 were found by a man a few years ago at a house in Los Angeles where Smith stayed during a filming project. The man sold the diaries to a memorabilia collector who runs a shop on Hollywood Boulevard, who in turn came forward with the diaries after Nicole’s untimely death in unusual circumstances.

The first diary has the words ‘I follow my own star’ written on the cover sold for about $285,000. In this diary Nicole confesses:

I hate for men to want sex all the time. I hate sex.

The second diary which sold for about $230,000 consists of Nicole’s more religious thoughts with lots of references to Jesus. In this diary Nicole writes about the illness of her billionaire husband J. Howard Marshall, who eventually died in 1995 at the age of 90.

Jeff Woolf was not at all surprised by the result of the auction because since the former playmate’s death, her memorabilia is in very much demand.
