My gosh… I could never believe Oprah ruining someone’s marriage! All I had her image is of helping people come out from their dark past and woes through her highest-rated talk show, The Oprah Winfrey Show. But I was aghast to hear her dark side as she confessed being a mistress during her 20’s.
Oprah’s last Friday’s episode had guests who were the other women in the relationship- one who were involved in affairs with married men. Then in the later part of the show she called on those women who were cheated on by their husbands and everyone got a chance to interact.
Well, during the show she let the bomb drop as spoke and said:
I was involved with a married man, and it is one of my greatest regrets. I later found out that the married man also had another “other woman.” It is such a powerless position to be in.
Now at the age of 53, the hostess has not too many regrets in her life, but she regrets being a mistress at that time in her life because it made her feel pathetic as a woman.
The confession left the woman Oprah had been talking to practically had her jaw drop though she managed to keep it together!
