Paris Hilton is a true socialite and is aptly tagged as the ‘social butterfly’. She acknowledges that butterflies do have an obligation towards the society in general and hence, she has decided to repay her debts by doing her bit to help the faltering economy. And how? By doing lots of shopping!!
Paris’ new message is likely to be criticized by many, but I don’t find it funny in any way. Here’s what the hotel heiress has pledged,
It’s really scary about the economy right now. So the way I’m playing my part in helping is doing a lot of shopping wherever I go.
Obviously, she is behaving like a responsible citizen because this is the need of the hour. It was just a couple of days back that I saw a headline somewhere that read “Americans refuse to make investment when America needs it the most.”
Now tell me, isn’t she better than all those wise heads who talk for hours about the recession and do nothing on their own part to help the economy? Paris has once again proved she is not what she is generally portrayed by the media. I’m glad to be a Paris fan. Hail Paris!
