Punk rocker Pattie Smith is all set to reveal her inner artistic nature with a display of her art collection at a Paris???s Fondation Cartier. The 60 year old is setting up a collection of her drawings and photographs, named Land 250, including 250 of the artist???s Polaroid shots.
Herve Chandes, of Fondation Cartier, is simply thrilled to have the legend exhibit her art at the French gallery:
Everything Pattie does is very emotional, but this is particularly personal to her. It is an immensely romantic, lyrical show which I think will reveal a side to her that not many people have seen before.
One of the photographs featured in the display is a shot of Jimi Hendrix???s guitar. The exhibition will be open to public from March 8th to June 08, 2008, and as a special addition, will feature recorded audio explanations of each of the pieces on display.
