The former Beatles singer Paul McCartney and New York businesswoman Nancy Shevell tied knots in a grand celebration on Sunday, October 9 in the Town Hall. The couple was very thrilled and looked stunning. Paul and Nancy had been seeing each other since 2007 and had got engaged in May this year. They are madly in love with each other and are very happy about being married now.

This is Paul???s third marriage and Nancy???s second marriage. Paul’s first wife Linda McCartney died of cancer in 1998 and his second marriage with Heather Mills ended with a bitter divorce in 2002. Nancy was formerly married to a lawyer Bruce Blakeman and her marriage also ended with a divorce. However, now that Paul and Nancy are together, they look great and make a perfect couple. When asked about his feelings after the wedding, Paul said that he felt ???terrific??? and ???wonderful???. Nancy also seemed to be completely enjoying the ceremony and she posed for a number of photographs with smiles all over.

During the wedding, which was being attended by their 200 fans, Paul, 69, wore a navy blue suit and Nancy, 51, wore a pretty white knee-length dress. Both their dresses were designed by Paul???s daughter Stella who is a fashion designer. After the wedding, there was a party at their St. John’s Wood mansion, North London that went on till late night and the guests enjoyed and celebrated.

The major attraction of the celebration was the eternity wedding ring that Paul slipped on the fingers of Nancy. The ring has been designed by celebrity designer Neil Lane who had also designed the engagement ring earlier. Nancy wanted her wedding band to have a vintage feel that should complement her engagement ring, but not outshine it. Paul got the ring designed just the way she wanted it. The wedding band is a pretty vintage style jewelry made of five carats of square-cut diamonds that have been delicately set on platinum. Paul loved the flawless creation and lovingly gifted it to Nancy who loved it too.

According to Neil Lane, Paul was very particular about the design of the wedding ring. He wanted it to be the way he had imagined it on his wife???s fingers. Neil reveals that Paul had been equally serious earlier about the engagement ring too. He paid special attention to the minutest details of the jewelry and wanted it to be perfect. Neil is proud that the wedding band that he created for Nancy is one of its kind and the couple loved it.
