While trying to avoid stepping on her pet dog Tulip, Paula Abdul tripped and fell down. The fall saved the pet, however American Idol judge fell and broke her nose. The fall tore the cartilage of her nose and fractured one of her toes, luckily she was not hospitalized.
Paula said:
I took a nasty fall while trying not to step on my dog. I bruised myself on my arm, my chest, my waist all the way down to my hip. All for my little chubby Tulip.
Ever since Paula has began her tenure as an Idol judge, this Forever Your Girl singer, has been dogged by numerous injuries. Luckily for Abdul, she has to play the ‘nice judge’ alongside Cowell and Randy Jackson for two more episodes. The grand finale on May 23 will decide that who would be the next American Idol. Either it is Blake Lewis or Jordin Sparks.
Abdul is now recovering from the fall and will be able to appear for the forthcoming season of ‘American Idol’. Although she has a little sore but will be fine soon.
