If recent reports are to be believed , all is not well between self ?acclaimed? buddies Karan Johar and Kareena Kapoor. Karan has ?long been ?planning his ambitious project Suddhi with the dream pair of Greek God Hrithik and? femme fatale Kareena but the delay? in starting the film has made moody Kareena think otherwise.
This has miffed Karan who has now zeroed in on Deepika to play the female lead. What?s rather interesting is that, Deepika had been offered this role previously but could not commit due to date issues. Kareena had gone on record stating that she loves the on ?screen chemistry of Saif and Deepika but now, one doubts what her current opinion would be.
This is not the first time that such a? situation has arisen between Bebo and Karan. In the past too,Kal Ho Na Ho had been offered to Kareena but she opted out of it, stating that the remuneration offered was less. It was then that Preity walked in to fill her shoes and we must say the ?shoes? fitted Preity rather? well coz she walked her way to fame and? money overnight.
Kareena, being the straightforward person she is, responded recently in this context stating that? she was provided with no information about the delay and will reconsider it only if she is approached by Karan again. For the time being she is happy playing the perfect wife to Saif and enjoying her married life.
Hrithik too has opted out of Suddhi, which is due for release on 25th December 2015 citing health issues and to spend more time with his sons post his divorce. Therefore, producer Karan Johar and director Karan Malhotra will have to finalize on the casting soon so as to speed up things.
