‘Rangdari’ forced Hyderabad power firm official to leave Bihar

It does not matter who is ruling over state, one thing should be changed and that is feudal mentality of the leaders in Bihar.

A recent incident in Aurangabad, once again, has shown the old and known character of the leaders of Bihar.

The manager of Hyderabad-based Vijay Electrical Ltd that is working for rural electrification in Bihar has locked his office in Aurangabad and fled the state. JD (U) MLA from Piro Sunil Pandey has threatened him.

Sunil Pandey and his supporters demanded five per cent as ‘rangdari’ money and contract work to his contractor relatives and threatened Senior Engineer and site manager G. Venugopal Naidu if they will fail to pay the ‘rangdari’.

nitish kumar 4The Project Manager (Bihar) of the company in Patna, K. Kanchan Rao, has lodged a complain with the police against the MLA. They became ready to lodge the FIR only after three days. They were terrorized and did not want to take help from the police.

Forget about the lack of infrastructure, poverty, illiteracy, first of all we should deal with the leader’s nature of opportunism. One suggestion to the people of Bihar that ‘do get immediate rid of these kind of ‘netas’, otherwise no government can develop the state’. Nitish is good but what about the gang of goons inside his party…
