Grammy Award-winning rapper, T.I. is free now! The rapper was released from federal court on $3million bond Friday 26, two weeks after he was held for gun-possession that could result in 30 years of jail!

The rapper has been released from prison but he’s on house arrest to await trial on weapons charges and will be monitored by a GPS system as well as a ‘private surveillance company.’

U.S. Magistrate Judge Alan Baverman ruled that T.I. must remain in home confinement until his trial at a home in Henry County and ‘will be monitored 24 hours day by a private monitoring service that he must pay for’.

The 27-year-old rapper, whose real name is Clifford Harris, will only be allowed to leave his home for court-approved circumstances, including medical appointments and court appearances. And he cannot own any firearms and cannot have contact with any witnesses or informants in the case.

The rapper was arrested on Saturday (October 13) for trying to purchase a machine gun and two silencers from his bodyguard. During the arrest, his Atlanta home was searched and six guns were found.
