Wayne Rooney’s brother and his girlfriend are very much in demand because both of them are lookalikes of the soccer star and his fiancee Coleen.
Graham Rooney, 19, and Carly Gardiner, 17, who were first time spotted by the media at Coleen’s 21st birthday bash are at the centre of a bidding war in the lucrative celebrity doubles industry.
A source said,
Graham is the spitting image of Wayne. People have struggled to tell them apart since they were young lads. Now Graham and Carly have been offered a small fortune for personal appearances. They could easily earn a living if they decided to make a go of it.
Carly is a cousin of Coleen McLoughlin and Wayne acted as the matchmaker for her and his brother.
Susan Scott, a lookalikes agency boss, said
I would love to have them on my books. They have added value as they are genuine relatives. They could make £500 each per appearance – or possibly even double that.
Graham is a trained boxer is already cashing on his similarity to his celeb brother. He has reportedly earned £15,000 for a 30-second TV commercial for discount store TJ Hughes in which he says, Hello, I’m Graham – Wayne Rooney’s brother.
