Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco hosted the annual Princess Grace Awards in NYC on Monday night. The awards raise funds for the Princess Grace Foundation based in the U.S. and are named after Oscar-winning actress and Prince Albert?s late mother Grace Kelly. The foundation supports and recognizes emerging talent in the field of film, dance and theatre. The gala was organized at the Cipriani 42nd Street where the couple greeted guest including a number of New York socialites and A-lister celebrities like Geena David.
For the gala, Prince Albert was dressed to the nines as always and his new wife looked dapper too in a halter neck ivory satin gown with gold detailing around the sultry neckline. Earlier in the day, the royal couple was spotted grabbing a quick lunch at Daniel, the upscale Upper East Side-based French restaurant known for its poshly priced tasting menus though with his $1billion-plus fortune, Prince Albert could certainly afford to splurge on a lavish and leisurely lunch. The couple is also one of the wealthiest royals in the world though they take their royal duties pretty seriously and brought their A-game to the gala despite having just concluded a four-day visit to Poland where they visited Warsaw and Krakow.
