Are you a hardcore fan of the ‘Big Brother’ fame Russell Brand? If yes, you must be aware of the hottest news of him stating that he has lost the womanizer and drug addict in himself. How shocking, isn’t it? How could such a sex addict, heroin addict and alcoholic chap ever make such a statement? But surprisingly, it is true. He broke out this news on the sets of Saturday Night Live and also suggested the shocked audience not to be alarmed. The womaniser and drug addict in me has died, says Brand.

The English comedian, who has done a number of comedy shows and made the whole world giggle and laugh has shocked everybody with his statement. The star has already faced a number of controversies in the limelight of the British media. The most prominent one in them was the prank calls case in 2008 in which actor Andrew Sachs received a series of voice messages, left by Brand and English television and radio presenter Jonathan Bose on his answering machine which were said to be obscene. He has also been arrested by the police for as many as 11 times.

However, despite such controversies, Brand never ceased to the ladies’ man. He has built a good reputation with the media, too. Then what has made him make such an electrifying decision? Besides, there is no news of him linking with any chic in the recent past. Who has made him make this rare statement? Or is this a new way of catching the media attention in order to come again into the spotlight? Well, we will have to ask Brand about that.

Whatsoever the reason may be, there are mixed reactions in pubic about Brand’s thought. The reactions may differ among us, but it is indeed a good news for his wife Katy Perry!
