Sausage Supreme Omelet reigns supreme at a whopping 800 calories

Dunkin’ Donuts is reported to have done some breakfast innovation with its new Sausage Supreme Omelet, apparently having a fluffy patty of scrambled eggs with vegetables, a sausage patty, all sandwiched between cheese slices and plain bagel bread.

Facts provide that the earlier version of Supreme Omelet had more variety to it in terms of flavor, consisting of bacon and vegetable rich fluffy scrambled egg, sandwiched with American, Swiss and Monterey Jack cheese, green and red peppers, scallions and fire-roasted mushrooms.

However as Dunkin Donuts has expanded its breakfast menu to catch-up with the coffee-sales or vice-versa, it has unintentionally or otherwise has added a more than 800 calories to the ‘hamless-burglar’.

Nutrition analysis shows that the burger like its previous cousin has a calorie content of 313, 490gms of sodium and 418gms of cholesterol. It is a crooked pleasure to give this nutritional breakdown to the nutritional advocates. It is or those to estimate their attempts to change the habit of consumers in having such calorie-filled breakfast and proudly call it as convenient, gooey-less and on-the-go food.

What is even more sarcastic is Dunkin’ donuts tagline across the Sausage Supreme Omelet that reads:

Our best tasting breakfast sandwich is now even better.

Well, definitely, as flavor is all that matters to the American consumers at the end of the day.
