Scarlett Johansson is fuming with rage over a recent report appearing in a US magazine that claimed she had resorted to a nose job. The 23-year-old actress is deeply offended by this misleading story and has threatened to take legal actions against the magazine.
The episode started when US Weekly ran her picture with the cover line, ‘A List Nip/Tuck’, and quoted her as saying,
I definitely believe in plastic surgery. I don’t want to be an old hag. There’s no fun in that.
And to make matters worse, the magazine even quoted a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon claiming that 60 per cent of women in Hollywood undergo some type of procedure.
Well, its a routine business for such magazines to rake in moolah by publishing sensational and unverified gossips, but someone who has religiously refrained from going under the knife will definitely feel offended by such absurd claims. Scarlett Johansson is considered as one of the most beautiful actresses of Hollywood, and these kinds of remarks are sure to malign her image.
Anyway, I’m pretty convinced that there is no truth in the story.
