fairytales to see the last of harry potter

The Children’s Voice charity which was set up by Rowling will get some funds from an auction of an illustrated copy of ‘The Tales of Beedle the Bard’. This book has been mentioned in the last book of Harry Potter series as having been given to Hermione by Professor Albus Dumbledore, recently disclosed as gay by the author. Commenting on the handwritten fairytale, Rowling said,

Writing it has been the most wonderful way to say goodbye to a world I have lived for 17 years.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, has one of the tales in it, that of ‘Tale of Three Brothers’. Including a set of five wizarding fairytales, Rowling has prodcued only seven copies, bound in brown leather and decorated in silver and moonstone design. Six of he books have been given to those who were closely associated with the Harry Potter series over the past 17 years. The 7th copy as confirmed will be auctioned for raising funds for children who are in desperate need for voice.

Belief amongst the acutioneers at Sotheby is that the book can be sold for a whopping amount of 50,000 pounds where the buyer will be prohibited for any copyright and reproduction. All this fund raising is for Rowling’s The Children’s Voice which fights for child’s rights across Europe. Commenting upon the last of Harry Potter through the fairytale book Rowling said,

It’s like coming up from a dive. Its been therapeutic in a way and I just want to say goodbye.

For Pottermaniacs across the globe disappointment goes deep inside with the revalation that the fairytales wont be up for grabs for everyone to read. Harry Potter, the wizard wonder’s journeyfrom being the boy who lived till the day he sends his children to Hogwartds has been memorable for everyone who has tagged along Rowling and her fiction throughout. Becoming one of the few billionaire authors, Rowling will have to live up to standards set by herself with Potter series. A lot will be expected from her in her upcoming books. Will the last of Harry Potter witness the last of Rowling’s literary success?. Only time can tell the same.
