David Beckham might be able to weave magic with his right foot on the football pitch but when it comes to the domestic arena, the England international seems slightly on the backfoot. His wife Victoria’s revelation that David exhibits a number of queer behaviours have fed the paparazzi with new materials to revive old rumours that David Beckham suffers from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
Victoria Beckham’s remarks that her husband colour-codes the contents of the refrigerator at their Beverly Hills home and that he uses the hoover only in straight lines wearing a pinafore apron have kindled the gossip that the disorder is getting more prominent with the passage of time.
Victoria’s comment about their private life is shockingly naive since she should have known better than to leak household information to the public. But maybe her comment about their home at Beverly Hills was deliberate when one considers that the 33-year old is busy promoting a forthcoming Spice Girls reunion tour.
All celebrities need to hit the headlines to stay in the public eye and perhaps Victoria Beckham believes that the revelation of private matters would help the Spice Girls stimulate their music career with an added force. Or maybe, Mrs. Beckham is simply too simplistic to draw the line between personal life and professional life.
This is not the first time that Posh Spice Victoria Beckham has let her tongue go loose. In 2001, she regretted saying that she calls her husband Goldenballs for his footballing prowess and has also expressed desire for their son Romeo to get into the showbiz world. It’s high time now that Mrs. Beckham starts checking her tongue and stop embarrassing husband David.
