Simon Cowell has always been the one to stir up controversies whether it be his famous cold cut comments on the American Idol or his now controversial Britain???s Got Talent and the X Factor, both of which have received complaints from the audiences for being too raunchy for family viewing prompting the ofcom to incur wrath on both Simon and the producers of the shows.

Lorna Bliss, a Britney Spears impersonator from the UK has auditioned for Britain???s got talent and though the judges David Hasselhof, Amanda Holden and Michael McIntyre did not like that performance, she was picked up by Simon to make the show sexier. However, Ofcom which is TV???s sensor board of sorts, already made allegations to previous shows of Simon and hence, the bosses were afraid that this might be considered as blatant disregard for the regulations of Ofcom and they might get fined even up to five hundred million pounds, since there are no set limits as to how much fine ofcom can levy. So the producers even though allowed the audition to stay in the edit felt that it was too raunchy and decided to axe it.

Cowell and Producers were already censored once for featuring Christina Aguilera in quite bold terms and have had many instances of complaints being received against various featured performances both by celebrities and contestants, which were deemed vulgar. The bosses this time are afraid since Ofcom has got a rather tight grip on what airs and disregard to which can result in huge losses in lieu of what happened with MTV in 2008 ??? they were fined about two hundred and fifty odd pounds for breaching of Ofcoms regulations and now, the raunchy scene of the impersonator has been axed, though it appeared in the trailer.
