According to Access Hollywood, Simon Cowell, the famous creator of The X Factor has given Heather a contract after viewing a YouTube video of the budding artist, who was introduced to him by the former Canadian Idol judge, Zack Werner. YouTube videos of Russell???s performances have turned smash hits among music lovers in Canada and the U.S. One of her renditions on her own song on YouTube, ???Every Step of the Way,??? has attracted more than 250,000 viewers.
