Singer Watson underwent surgery for brain tumor

Russell Watson, the sensational singer has been in a spot of bother in recent times as far as his health goes. The star singer was noted to be in a critical condition after being operated on emergency basis to remove a brain tumor. The 40 year old artist who has made his mark in the international music circuit with a sale of millions of records around the world was diagnosed with a tumor and was rushed into the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Alexandra Hospital, Cheshire.

This is not the first time Watson underwent such a painful experience. The father of two daughters was operated for a similar brain tumor a year ago in London at St. George’s Hospital. There have been contradictory comments on Russell’s condition ever since. The hospital officials say that Watson’s condition is extremely critical while his personal manager tells that he is conscious and that the world has got him back.

This state of ill health hit the star singer as soon as he finished making his new album. The re-growth of tumor will be definitely of high misfortune for the star. Giving world of good health was the former factory worker from Salford known as ‘The Voice’ said,
We are all thinking of you and your family, and praying hard for your complete recovery.

In the middle of his ill health one can applaud Watson’s musical feats. The sensational singer has had the honor unlike most singers to sing in front of Queen Elizabeth, U.S. President George Bush and Pope John Paul.

Fans across the world will remember popular songs like ‘Stranger in the Night’ and ‘When I fall in Love’ by Russell for which he has been awarded with the top chart positions on both sides of the Atlantic. All those soccer fans who are unable to recollect the man in concern, Russell was the one who sang the national anthem before the FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Manchester United at Wembley earlier this year.
