Taj Mahal, Shah Jahan‘s beautiful monument of love for his wife Mumtaj Mahal, has found its place in the first list of New Seven Wonders of the world.
The Taj Mahal has left behind the monuments such as the Acropolis, Eiffel tower and the Statue of Liberty and got the place in the list.
These monuments have failed to be listed in the first list of the New Seven Wonders Foundation. The foundation is a privately funded organization, which has short-listed as many as 21 landmarks monuments from all over the world.
However, the final list would be announced by the foundation after the number of votes cast till July 7 for each monument from across the world.
Now the Indians everywhere are waiting to see India’s 17th century marvel monument in the seven wonders of world.
According to the rules, the monuments getting the maximum votes would get the place in the list of new Seven Wonders of the World. Voting for the final list of the New Seven Wonders will be on till July 7.
The voters can go to the website new7wonders.com and cast votes. The voters can also call the New Seven Wonder Foundation on the number 0044 870 062 3748 to cast their votes in favor of their favorite wonders.
