It wasn’t a red carpet event, it wasn’t a party but it was a social event and thus there were a lot of socialites hopping there. It was Silverstone mania and that caused a handful of celebrities to turn up. And the list includes David and Victoria Beckham too.
But I am not here to discuss the celebrities but their style and who better to start with then ‘the Beckhams’. They were all geared up for the event in their matching biker-style outfits. Victoria looked good with her trademark oversize sunglasses, which is a lot too predictable and David has his favorites aviators on (as well as off, as he kept them hanging from his white t shirt). However, Posh is getting old, look at her face in the close up. Her skin looks really bad. Hats off to the couple, as they participated in the sport with a good excitement and enthusiasm.
The couple quoted, ‘This is the first time. This is so exciting for us. We have met some amazing people. We don’t usually get the chance to come to things like this together so we are looking forward to it. We are looking forward to seeing Jenson race and the other drivers as well – and Lewis Hamilton who is the man of the moment. As a nation we have got to be proud of our great sports stars. I would love a go in one of these cars but I don’t think I could get insured.‘
Leaving the couple, the other celebrities present were Derby-winning jockey Frankie Dettori and England batsman Kevin Pietersen. Also Girls Aloud’s Dannii Minogue and singer Natasha Bedingfield made their presence felt. Well, I would say, Beckhams ruled there with their style and enthusiasm. No one else could make up to them. Hamilton finished third, with Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen and his McClaren team mate Fernando Alonso going for first and second place respectively.
Huh! I expected a lot of style in there. Guess, I should get back to some party for some more fashion statements.
