Well, if you have money you can rule the world! Hollywood hunk Tom Cruise, who always had a passion for bikes, will be the proud owner of the new superbike from Ducati – Desmosedici RR. Reportedly, it will cost him a whopping USD 72,500 to purchase the roadgoing version of a MotoGP race machine. But that amount is surely not a headache for our Tom. Ducati has launched only a few limited editions of this motorcycle in the market. It is manufactured under the combined effects of titanium, magnesium and carbon fibre technology and can reach speeds of 322 km per hour. Wow! That will seem as if you are flying to your destination.
Michael Lock, chief of Cupertino-based Ducati North America, was quoted saying:
We are delighted to be able to deliver the world’s first production unit here in the USA to Tom Cruise, who is a well-known Ducati enthusiast???
I am sure this new bike is all set to revolutionize biking culture all over again and with the news of Tom Cruise as the first one to take this home, its launch will definitely be a grand success.
