TRIBES-WHY TREAT THEM LIKE ANIMALS

Some tribes living in deep forests are treated like animals. To save them from extinction, they are isolated from the human world. Recently Govt has decided to isolate Jarawa tribe in Andaman & Nicobar islands like endangered species of animals facing extinction. Do such tribes have no right to grow and develop like other human species of the urban world?

The rational for isolating poor souls is their high vulnerability to diseases and virus carried by the urban population. Should they not be treated to develop immunity against infections? By keeping them away from our world are we not isolating a section of society leaving them in the forests to fend for themselves on forest-based traditional resources? Or are we preserving them to showcase them as objects of tourist attraction?

For animals welfare we have organizations like PETA but unfortunately no organization has ever raised voice for the poor tribesmen. Should we not be sensitive to such tribes ordained to live life in isolation like other animals in the forests? Should the Govt initiate measures to bring them in the mainstream of urban developed world?
