I always thought that country folks specially ladies are laid back and real chill about things. But, I guess with the arrest of Mindy McCready (a country singer), I might have to reconsider my thought. McCready has been charged with resisting arrest and drunk driving.

What went wrong?

Last weekend, the country singer was pulled over by the Florida cops at 3 a.m.Saturday morning. she was charged on various counts.

Apparently, Mccready is not having a good time lately. Her ex William McKnight broke into the singer’s home and abused her physically. After the attack, McKnight was arrested and Mindy was treated at the hospital.
I think she was probably depressed over this whole thing and left home drunk. When pulled over by the cops, she denied taking a breath analyzer test administered by the cops. At the same time, she performed poorly when sobriety test was administered. So, she was booked by Florida police. Later she was released on a $3,500 bail.

About Mccready

The singer is mostly famous for her album ‘Guys do it all the time’. She has been living in Nashville since 18. Her record hits include a multitude of songs like ‘Ten thousand Angels’, ‘I’m not so tough’.

As far as her personal life goes, she has not been doing that well. She had previous charges against her. Last February, she was charged with prescription drug fraud. When talking to the media, Mindy Mccready mentioned that she is not upset:

We all make mistakes. We’re human. Hopefully, everyone – like I am – will have that attitude. I’m not upset

Current situation:

As of now, she is out on bail. McCready was not found guilty on the DUI charge. However, she was found guilty on the charge of driving with a suspended license. She is originally from Fort Myers but, police records show her last current address to be Nashville, Florida. If you are a country singer, Nashville is the place to be. But, please don’t drink and drive.
