This famous rapper and songwriter who is the face of Mac Cosmetics is going to collect money for Mac AIDS fund by selling her limited edition Mac Viva Glam Flamingo Pink Lipstick!
Even she was amazed by seeing the support her fans have shown by snapping up her pink lip stick!

?Two of my mother?s brother died of AIDS, in Trinidad, It was a long time back, but they both passed both of them!? Since she was born in this twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago she knows about the condition of these countries. According to her about forty percents of the adolescents are not educated properly about the disease. She even announced that 10 percent of the localities are suffering from this deadly disease!

The MAC AIDS funds she is supporting is concerned with educating the people out there with the disease and giving grants to the non government organisations and support any community programme with the aim of spreading information about HIV/AIDS.

Tourism Minister Stephen Cadiz commented on the statement by Minaj as ?erroneous and which needs to be corrected!?The tourism ministry will soon embark a public relation campaign to correct the comment made by her that about 250,000 are suffering from AIDS in these Caribbean countries.
Even though the tourism minister is not that concerned about the statement because according to him the disease does not have much of a negative impact on the tourism industry!
Just for the record the most recent country progress report submitted by the Office of the Prime minister to UNAIDS the joint UNITED NATIONS Programme on HIV?AIDS estimated that an average of 22,787 people are suffering from the disease in Trinidad and Tobago at the end of 2010.
But whatever be the case we must say it was an innovative idea to raise money and a commendable effort from her side to support the cause.Minaj has put her lips to some really good use!!
