Many people are claming that Angelina Jolie was paid by CNN to talk to them. This is sheer nonsense, why would she do so? As far as I know Angelina, she has logic behind her every action these days, so she has a valid reason for sitting down for an interview with the broadcaster.
Angelina’s sympathy for third world is no secret, Anderson Cooper from CNN, said that everybody wants an interview with Angelina now but he got a call from the other side, and was told that they are aware of his interest in Africa. CNN devoted a load of time to reporting stories from the continent, this can be one big reason why Angie preferred talking to CNN, just after four days coming back from Namibia.
Anderson Cooper who interviewed Angelina is highly impressed with her. Has to be, the lady is smart, witty, intelligent, intensely passionate about her children, her work on behalf of refugees and she knows what she says.
In the interview, she chose talking about some important stuff, rather than her upcoming ventures. Tuesday is World Refugee Day, so she talked about plight of refugees. Angelina has visited innumerable refugees’ camp throughout the world.
