Ever wondered why Wonder Woman might need a new costume? Times are changing, and every woman needs a wardrobe enhancement. Adrianne Palicki stars as Wonder Woman in the new television series created by David E. Kelley of Ally McBeal fame. It appears that the new look has ruffled a few feathers among the fan community.
According to Foxnews:
Warner Bros TV released the image from the NBC pilot, which shows Palicki covered up more than Lynda Carter???s costume from the 1970s. Palicki wears a full pant, which appears to be made of latex, under a red corset top. Other changes include the removal of the white stars from the costume, and a pair of blue boots as opposed to the original red and white stripes.
Mr. Kelley must have a serious fetish for latex-clad superwomen – his spouse Michelle Pfeiffer dressed like one in Batman Returns (1992). Clearly, the new Wonder Woman wearing full latex pants indicate that satiny star-spangled grandma briefs are no longer in fashion. And wisely so! How I agonized to see those horrendous briefs on Lynda Carter, only to be further tortured by Katy Perry when she showed up wearing the same briefs, dressed like a Nutcracker! Wonder Woman’s new outfit is definitely fighting-friendly, when a girl has to stretch that extra bit to kick some…, without having to show more skin. I also think that the outfit is a real show-stopper. After all, who doesn’t like a strong curvy woman in latex! Here is a costume built upon many fantasies. The new Wonder Woman is living the dream!
