People often say about the new generation of India that the Indian youth is disobedient, antagonistic and do have little respect for the Indian culture, tradition as well as social values. The CNN-IBN-Hindu ‘State of the Nation Survey’ report makes it false.

The survey was made on the young age people of rural as well as urban area. Thirty-four per cent of them were graduates, thirty per cent were matriculate and nineteen per cent were school dropouts. In addition, seventeen per cent were illiterate.

According to the survey, the youth of India is very conservative at heart. Their ideal is Mahatma Gandhi, they agree on the point that parents should take the decision about marriage. They are firm that they, after marriage, will stay with their parents.

Just have a look on the survey reports…
