2 Japanese women raped in Agra

In a shocking disclosure, two Japanese women have claimed that they were repeatedly raped by three men on last Thursday and Friday in a hotel in Agra. The tourists said that they reached Agra on September 18 and checked into Hotel Safari.

In the hotel, they met with a man who was speaking fluent Japanese. He took both the Japanese visitors in a room in the hotel. He offered drinks mixed with sedatives to both women. When they fallen unconscious, he and two other men repeatedly raped them.

However, authorities at the hotel said that they were not aware of any incident of rape in the hotel. Suresh, owner of the Hotel safari in Agra, said that nobody has complained to me regarding any such matter.

When the two tourists reached Delhi on Saturday night, they went to IGI airport and lodged the Zero FIR. They claimed that three men raped them at least twice in Agra on Thursday and Friday.

Later, Delhi Police confirmed that a Zero FIR had been lodged against unidentified persons. According to them, the case would be soon transformed to the Agra Police for further investigation.

Further, Agra SSP, Naveen Arora said that he was told that the two Japanese women, aged 22 and 23, have left for Japan on Sunday but before their departure they have lodged the complaint that they were raped in Agra on Thursday.

Earlier, both Japanese tourists, residents of Nagasaki, had reached Delhi from Japan on September 15 to visit India. They had gone to Jaipur and then Agra during the trip to India.

According to a latest report, the two main accused in the case have been arrested on Monday morning by Agra Police.
