According to AC-Nielsen market research conducted on 18 cities, Delhi and Mumbai are most unclean and polluted cities. The survey says further that Chandigarh and Chennai are the best place to live in India.
The market research team surveyed the cities on 11 different factors such as including drainage, greenery, cleanliness of roads, garbage disposal, air pollution, clean drinking water and public loo.
According to the survey, Chandigarh tops the list with 144 points. Chandigarh is still being planned according to the well-managed plan. The plan chart for every road, every tree and every drain was ready when the city was designed and still everything is going just according to the plan.
Chennai ranks at second place with 118 points and Kolkata and Bangalore behind Chennai with 108 points. Mumbai and Delhi shares 99 points each and Hyderabad ranks even lower with 98.
Delhi has a major problem of clean drinking water and cleanliness of roads and garbage disposal. Some of the residents have another view on the growing problem in Delhi.
According to them, the people should stop blaming the government for everything. People should actively participate ourselves to make the city clean.
