Indeed some causes are worth fighting for and perhaps that’s what kept former Bay Watch star David Hasselhoff going. For quite a while the star was trying to win the custody of his children and on June 15 his efforts were aptly rewarded when a ruling declared that kids would be with David. Though their mother has also been allowed to visit them on weekends.
Beaming with joy of victory his lawyer Melvin S. Goldsman said:
If, down the road, the kids are comfortable seeing her more, Mr. Hasselhoff has said he will let his children see their mother as often as they want to.
In the last couple of weeks not only Hasselhoff but even the kids have gone through a lot. The situation turned more adverse for Hasselhoff when a video which showed the actor in a highly intoxicated situation was surfaced, and later he was even temporarily barred from seeing Taylor-Ann, 17, and Hayley, 14. But this ruling come as a whiff of fresh and refreshing air.
Sensing that the long trial is also taking its toll on children’s psyche the judge decided to announce his judgment.
The tussle, between Hasselhoff and his ex wife Pamela Bach, started since the two separated in January 2006. Well, after so many month of trial at last the actor has something to smile at.
