Farrah Fawcett Achieves Victory Over Cancer

Former ‘Charlie’s Angels’ star Farrah Fawcett’s 60th birthday was a memorable day for her as on this special day she declared a victory over her four-month battle with cancer. A recent statement issued by her revealed that, ‘Fawcett is cancer free.’

Fawcett said,

This is an extraordinarily happy day for me and my family.

The actress revealed that she had been enduring most difficult fight of her life during the treatment. She said,

In the face of excruciating pain and uncertainty, I never lost hope.

I hope that my news might offer some level of inspiration to others who unfortunately must continue to fight the disease.

The blonde actress best known for hit 1970s TV drama ‘Charlie’s Angels’ divorced her hubby, ‘The Six Million Dollar Man’ star Lee Majors in the early 1980’s. After her divorce she involved into a relationship with O’Neal, with whom she had a son.

She also co-starred with Richard Gere and Helen Hunt in Robert Altman’s 2000 film ‘Dr. T and the Women.’
