Dita Von Teese, the petite star and wife of goth performer Marilyn Manson, has popularized the hourglass silhouette and glamour of the Forties with her signature style of perfectly set, curled hair, scarlet lips and nipped-in, fitted suits and dresses.
Actress and model Milla Jovovich also loves the Forties look. This fall, her fashion label Jovovich Hawk includes some very chic cocoon-shaped coats and bias-cut heavy silk evening tops inspired by the elegance of the forties era.
The forties look is not only very elegant but seductive too.
