Family of late actor John Ritter has reached a tentative solution in a death lawsuit against Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Calif where he died three years back. Legal procedures are yet to be followed and the financial details are not revealed. His widow Amy Yasbeck who accused the hospital of negligence and giving improper treatment asked them to pay damages of $25 million.
Ritter’s family says that while shooting for 8 Simple Rules he collapsed on the sets and was admitted to the medical centre as he complained of chest pain, dizziness and nausea. He had to undergo unnecessary procedures and was given wrong treatment which caused his death.
