Kate Hudson is back on the track of love and is ready to face the dating scene as a single mom. Hudson who parted her ways from her husband of six years Chris Robinson is now dating Punk’d regular Dax Shepard.
The 28-year old actress tells Harper’s Bazaar for its September issue,
Dating becomes very different. You realize after you have had children that you’ll never love anything more than your child. … So it makes the new sort of single-mom dating process very different. It’s like growing up. It’s adult.
After splitting from hubby Robinson, the actress dated her ‘You, Me and Dupree’ costar Owen Wilson. However, their romance ended in May. And after few months Hudson once more fell in love and this time with MTV’s Punk’d regular Dax Shepard. They were first spotted dating last month in southern California and indulged in an affair since Shepard escorted her to dinner at Malibu.
The new couple spent the long weekend enjoying jet-skiing and other summer delights at Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell’s Muskoka cottage in Ontario, where the lover birds were caught by paparazzi in a steamy liplock.
Hudson and The Black Crowes singer Robinson split last year (06) and are currently in the process of getting divorced. The couple has 3-year-old son, Ryder and shared a six years of marriage.
Of her ex Robinson she says,
For both Chris and me, our main focus is, and was, Ryder. And happy parents, happy baby. Therefore, I love Chris to pieces. He’s my first huge love. I spent seven years with Chris. I was 20 when I met him. We still talk everyday. He still cracks me up. And Ryder feels that.
US magazine reports,
Kate Hudson has already taken her new boyfriend home to meet the parents. Nighttime barbecues! Jet-skiing! Lakeside PDA! It was all part of the fun during Hudson’s weeklong vacation with Dax Shepard.
On July 30, the two lovebirds – who were first photographed together July 13 – flew on a private jet to Muskoka, Canada, where Kurt Russell and mom Goldie Hawn own a home.
Dax fit right in. He played tennis with Hudson’s younger brothers Wyatt and Boston, and helped teach her 3-year-old son, Ryder, how to fish.
Everything is all well between Shepard and Hudson but her friends aren’t really accepting their relationship. According to a source, ‘Everyone thinks it’s a strange choice for her. Dax is wild and weird.’
