Kirsten Dunst’s role model is director Sofia Coppola. Sofia has directed Dunst in two movies, ‘The Virgin Suicides’ and ‘Marie Antoinette’. Sofia, the daughter of the legendary director Francis Ford Coppola, according to Dunst, has inspired her since the moment they met and finds her one of ‘most inspiring’ people she has ever me.
She said:
Sofia is someone who has influenced me in a huge way by the way she lives and what she likes…We have similar tastes and it is nice to have a friend you can relate to. She gets what I am going through and has similar perspective on things.
She said that she used to be too much of a person-pleaser and was too scared to upset people. But things have changed now. She says:
I guess I’m getting less afraid of life now.
Well, seems we have found a more courageous ‘spiderwoman’.
