Actor Tom Sizemore fans are going to miss the 45-year-old, on the big screen for sometime as he was sentenced to 16 months in prison after he violated the terms of his probation.

The sentence resulted from an arrest in which police had found two bags of methamphetamines and three meth pipes in the actor’s Ford Mustang car in 2004.

Sizemore begged Judge Rayvis not to sentence him to prison and to give him another chance. Later on, Rayvis approved the actor be sent to the R.J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego County because of its noteworthy drug treatment program. She also gave him credit for 22 days served in county jail and 10 days for his good behavior.

Earlier Sizemore failed a court-order to a drug test when he was caught trying to use a prosthetic penis to fake the results and was ordered into drug rehabilitation.
Then in August 2003 he was convicted of misconduct with Heidi Fleiss. The actor faces up to six years in prison if he is convicted of all the charges.

Currently Sizemore is held in L.A. County jail, where he will spend the night. He’s been held up there since June 5. Sizemore is again scheduled to face the judge on June 26, and the court will determine how many days of credit will be applied to his new sentence.
