All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) norms and conditions are equally important for All India Council for Technical Educationoffering technical education as well and they are bound to work upon them as per the All India Council for Technical Education judgement. Even the agitating students were advised to end their agitation and exercise restraint.
Sathyabama Deemed University Students have stated that violence is a two way process as when there was no violence during the agitation in any other deemed universities then only students of Sathyabama can’t have problem. It was management that at first started the violence and several students were beaten up by the management personnel whereas many students were still missing. Even AICTE acted very irresponsibly as it at first stated students were in trouble, and then they even warned the institutions of serious action due to which whole hassle and bustle and anxiety among students was created.
I think its good to have same norms for deemed universities and other UGC recognized universities as it is in public interest.
